Job Description : Job Description Position: Production Engineer Department Production Reports To Project Manager Qualification  B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)  Additional certification in Quality Management, CAD/CAM, Metrology, or Photogrammetry will be an added advantage. Experience  5–8 years of experience in mechanical production/manufacturing.  Hands-on experience in quality control and inspection.  Experience in photogrammetry-based measurement and dimensional inspection is preferred.  Experience in fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, mold setting, glass mirrors handeling or renewable energy equipment manufacturing is desirable. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Production Engineer to oversee production activities, maintain quality standards, optimize manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of production planning, quality assurance, precision measurement techniques, and photogrammetry for dimensional verification and reverse engineering. Key Responsibilities Production  Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities.  Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining safety, quality, and delivery schedules.  Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce production costs.  Coordinate with design, procurement, maintenance, and project teams.  Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.  Prepare production reports, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.  Supervise fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing activities. Quality Control  Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.  Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and checklists.  Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).  Monitor quality KPIs such as rejection rates, rework, and customer complaints.  Coordinate calibration of measuring instruments and maintain quality records. Photogrammetry & Dimensional Inspection  Perform dimensional inspections using photogrammetry systems.  Process and analyze point cloud data for dimensional verification.  Compare scanned components with CAD models.  Generate inspection reports highlighting deviations and tolerances.  Support reverse engineering and quality validation using 3D measurement techniques.  Coordinate with design and production teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies. Process Improvement  Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.  Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.  Recommend improvements in tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing methods.  Assist in process validation and production trials. Documentation  Maintain production, inspection, and quality records.  Prepare SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.  Ensure traceability of manufactured components.  Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and CAPA documentation.
