Job Description : Transformer Testing Engineer is responsible for testing, inspecting, commissioning, and verifying transformers to ensure they meet design specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities Transformer testing Perform routine, type, and special tests on power and distribution transformers. Conduct tests such as: Transformer turns ratio (TTR) Winding resistance Insulation resistance (IR) Magnetic balance test Vector group/polarity test No-load/load-loss tests Short-circuit impedance test Induced and applied voltage tests Partial discharge (PD) testing Tan delta/capacitance testing
